Domaine REMOISSENET Pommard 1er Cru "Epenots" 2016

Wine Region: Burgundy - France

Grape: Pinot Noir

Tasting notes: If the aromatic range includes blackberry and blueberry, it often tends towards redcurrant, concentrated cherry (kernel) or even ripe plum, if not candied. The aromas of maturity express leather, pepper or bell pepper, chocolate. Its structure is tender and its fleshy character! Its wealth and power make it famous. It is fruity on the palate, while having chewiness.

About the winery:
Founded in 1877 by Pierre-Alfred Remoissenet, in the heart of Beaune, Maison Remoissenet Pere & Fils is well known by lovers of great Burgundy wines. The generations followed each other at the head of the estate before being acquired by Edward L. Milstein, an American. He surrounded himself with an expert team of Burgundy wine to carry on the family's prestigious reputation. In the vineyard, we practice sustainable agriculture, and we follow the principles of organic farming. The wines are vinified in vasks then aged in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months.
