Tasting notes: Opening in the glass with aromas of citrus oil, white flowers and crushed chalk, the wine is rich, tight and racy, with fine acids enhancing its smoothness on the palate. The finish is long and intense, sublime by its creamy texture and by its long distinguished acidity.
About the winery: Domaine Lafouge is a family estate established in Auxey-Duresses since 1650. For them, working the vines with respect for the terroir is essential, as is a style of wine combining finesse and elegance. The harvest has always been manual.
