Tasting notes: White wine with light green reflections. A complex nose with notes of citrus, lychee and white flowers. This wine has an aromatic palate with volume, a nice balance and a saline finish.
About the winery:
Together with his wife Adrienne, Etienne Brana founded Domaine Brana in 1974, building a distillery and planting an orchard of William pear trees to get started. A decade later, they expanded the business and started producing Irouléguy wines with the help of their two children, Jean and Martine. The Domaine is blessed with exceptional terroir and abundant sunshine, so their white Irouléguy grapes (such as Petit Courbu and Gros Manseng) and red grapes (which include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tannat) have thrived. To this day, the family still takes charge of winemaking, distilling, as well as distributing, with quality as their sole guiding light.
