Wine Region: Bordeaux - France

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot

Tasting notes: The nose will be composed of violet and smoky notes of wood and vanilla. The wines of Saint-Julien are renowned for combining the feminine finesse of the wines of Margaux and the strength of the wines of Pauillac. Therefore, we will find structured tannins with an important note of black fruits that will give an interesting general balance.

About the winery:
A very old Saint-Julien estate, Chateau Talbot owes its name to the Connetable Talbot, an English warrior who fell during the Battle of Castillon in 1453. Classified Fourth Growth in 1855, this magnificent 107-hectare estate is now managed by the Bignon-Cordier family. Chateau Talbot produces a Grande Cuvee and a second wine, the Connetable of Talbot, in the far north of the Saint-Julien appellation.
